Why become an HPEI certified trainer?

Scientific validation, of any personality tool whatsoever, does not guarantee that the questionnaire result will always give the true type of the person answering it. Only confirmation by the person him or herself can provide this.

The apparent simplicity of the Enneagram model is misleading. It is based on 9 focuses of attention, 9 drives, 9 defence mechanisms which are not easy to identify.

This is why determining someone's Type can only be done in the framework of serious training, or in-depth, personal coaching. The HPEI provides a score for each of the 9 Types, enabling us to see which probable Types the person will hesitate between.

In other words, the HPEI is a tool for certified trainers wishing to use it in their training or coaching practices.

Certification guarantees that the person using the questionnaire is capable of:

- mastering the Enneagram in an in-depth manner;
- providing basic training in the Enneagram;
- conducting a coaching interview validating a participant's Type.
